The Elisabeth Kübler-Ross Foundation, in partnership with the MISS Foundation, an international nonprofit group that provides aid to families experiencing the death of a child, plans to build "The Elisabeth House", a Community Compassion Center, an all-encompassing grief intervention/education respite, in Phoenix, Arizona. The Elisabeth House will serve anyone grieving in the community with support groups, individual counseling, workshops, continuing education for healthcare professionals art and music therapy, and library/media resources. The partnership between the EKR Foundation and the MISS Foundation has the potential for academic involvement as well.
